Furniture design

Fine Edge Designs uses the latest computer-aided design technology to produce a variety of 3D visualisation and 2D technical drafting. We provide samples of all the wood and materials we propose using and can make scale models of freestanding furniture, if required. We ensure that our clients are completely satisfied with the proposed designs before we commence the manufacture.

In producing bespoke furniture designs, we take account of the item’s intended purpose and any preferences in terms of style. We also ensure that designs are fully integrated with other elements of interior design. We work closely with interior designers, interior architects and property developers, and understand how furniture can be used to reinforce and enhance an overall interior design scheme. Another reason for our success is our ability to interpret clients’ aspirations.

Where appropriate, our designs incorporate imaginative lighting and the latest automation and labour-saving techniques – such as motorised drawers and doors. In addition to making furniture to the exact dimensions required, we can also add decoration design detailing that will make the items truly personal and unique.

As soon as the design has been approved, manufacture can begin.
